I am currently an undergraduate sophomore, and am looking into summer programs to apply to soon.

I was interested in finding programs established in making a simulation of the first year of medical school. (That provides housing.)

I found one at VCU, but they require students to have completed organic chemistry.

I am unfortunately not there yet.

There is another at Yale (YSEMA), but from what I see they only allow students from Connecticut schools and HBCUs. My school would not be eligible.

So I am looking for other programs that focus on the didactic portion of medical school. I am a CNA (about 50 clinical hours so far), and started this semester at a lab as a research assistant. I am currently a sophomore at a 4 year that does not have any premedical summer programs.

I will still apply to summer research programs, because I know there are more of those, but I would still like to see if there is a possibility to do something like this.

Even knowing it will not completely prepare me for medical school, but early exposure would be nice.
