Summer Research before Post-Bacc

Hey all,

I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with doing research in the summer between undergrad and their post-bacc year?

I'm finding a lot of research opportunities are geared for "undergraduate" students. Are most of these programs strict about this or will consider students who are still continuing schooling? Any research program suggestions for post-grads?
