Summer Research/Internships

I know it may be a little late to apply for some summer programs, but I'd really love to find a program/internship for a first-year medical student that involves research in something like infectious diseases, tropical medicine, global health, etc. I've done some searching online and only found a couple. Anyone know of any programs that relate to any of these areas? Thanks!
