Hey everyone,
I plan on applying for medical school next summer right after I get my April MCAT scores back. Assuming I get accepted to a few schools and get interviews, would my summer consist of a lot of traveling for the interview process? If so, would it be a good idea to apply to summer research internships to continue building my resume and interests? Or would it be too late at that point since I would have already applied?
Thanks!

The earliest interviews are Texas in late July for couple schools. Otherwise the first AMCAS MD schools to interview will be around last week of August but most of them starting the first two of September.

So would it be beneficial to continue building my resume over that summer even though I have already applied? I'm assuming yes because it would add to my experience anyways that I can use for interviews.

Also consider the possibility that you don't get accepted and have to reapply. You don't want to stop adding to your application just because you've applied.
