Hey guys,

I'm currently a sophomore, and am still not sure what i'm going to do during the summer. How important are the research/ lab experiences for dental school apps? What did you guys do over the summers?

Don't waste your summer by not doing anything in your sophomore year. I would recommend getting a research related to your major. If you can't find anyone to do reseach with, do some shadowing. Get to know the dentist so that when you apply, you have a solid letter of recommendation. If you don't want do that either, take some classes (atleast 6 credits). Do something!

The dental schools want to see that you are taking your time seriously. Good luck with whatever you decide.
