Hey everyone,

I have to take a pre-med course over the summer at upenn, but I am having a hard time deciding between taking gen chem or physics. Have any of you heard if one of the courses is more doable than the other?

This is such a focused question that I suppose you're unlikely to find a good answer on this forum. Instead of being concerned with the difficulties of specific courses at a specific institution, maybe you should think in terms of what is easier for you - chemistry or physics? The bottom line, however, is that either course is going to require a fair amount of input, on your part, over a truncated period of time.

I went to Penn for undergrad. I have known more people that have done gen chem over the summer than physics. Most people try to leave Penn for physics and take it during the summer at an institution close to home or wherever they will be (I did this).
