summer school?orgo?

semester system wise...

you need a year (2 semesters) of ochem.

in summer school you can take one class. so if you want to complete ochem in summer school you would have to take it over 2 summers.

Not necessarily. I took a full year's worth of orgo over the summer between my freshman and sophomore years. It's Orgo 210-1,2,3 at Northwestern.

You can take a full year of orgo in a single summer at both of the undergrad schools I attended as well.

We have two summer sessions (semesters) per summer. During each session you are allowed to take 9 credits.

I might add that UVA's orgo program kicks butt. When I took it, Dr. Gerrans was teaching. The guy can actually teach since his speciality is "chemistry education" rather than lab research.
