Hi everyone.

I was wondering if anyone knows how schools look upon courses taken during the summer as opposed to a regular year.
I'll be applying for dental school for next year. It's been 2 years since I've been out of school. Having a B.A., I took physics and o-chem last year, but I have yet to take bio + lab. Is it ok to take that class during the summer? or should I wait to take it during fall semester? (If that's the case, wouldn't it be a little late since I would have already submitted my applications?).
Thanks guys.

Why would they care? Summer classes are generally more intensive and difficult than semester classes, so I can't see why it would be a negative.

There is a negative connotation associated with summer school classes in that they tend to be more remedial. I don't think this is really the case any more and I wouldn't worry about taking courses during the summer. 🙂
