Summers during vet school

Hi everyone,
I'll be starting vet school in august and was wondering what students do during the summer. Do people typically work or take the summer to travel?

Take the summers to travel?? Lol, I wish I could afford to do that! Most vet students at my school are working in clinics. I highly recommend doing this, as it makes everything you learn in school a lot more applicable. A few are doing research jobs. Everyone I know is working - you've got to try and keep those student loans to a minimum!
