I just checked AADSAS and it was updated to "wait listed".

I am wondering, did anyone actually get rejected? Or was this given to everyone who did not get accepted?

Please let me know. I am wondering if this is something to keep optimistic about.

I was waitlisted...I haven't heard if anyone was rejected. I called and the lady said they don't start taking people off the list until April but that does not sound right to me at all.

i feel for you guys, buffalo definitely rejects ppl post-interview tho, so keep ur heads up... what were your stats by the way?

They don't start taking people off the waitlist until April!?!?! That doesn't sound right to me either. Did she tell you where you were on the waitlist or did you ask? I wonder if they give out that info.....

I just got waitlisted today too, not sure time, I was away from my computer for a few hours and found out around 2pm on AADSAS.

Come to think of it, they probably start taking people off the waitlist before April but they say that as a buffer time period so people don't call and bug them about it before then, and usually by then it will all have happened anyways, you know what I mean.....

I called today as well and the lady told me the same thing. She said that we will not be re-reviewed until April after all the post-December people interview. It sounds like all the acceptances until April will be for people who interview after December 1st only.

This is consistent with pre-dents. Not one person who got accepted after Dec 1 interviewed before December (only those who got accepted after April).

So sorry to be the one to confirm the bad news but it looks like we will all be wondering whether we get accepted or not until April. That is, if they don't reject us first. Looks like I need to find a new number one school until then.

waitlisted as well 👎. I liked the school, it was one of my top choices. I thought i did awesome on the interview.

They said this year they are giving more priority to NY residents, so i wonder if thats part of the reason?

i feel the same way... i thought it was my best interview. AND i'm an ny resident. granted my gpa's a little low. le sigh.

when i called i was informed i was on the alternate list, barbara said that they end up taking a significant amount of people off the list, those were her exact words.

who knows they might not have to take anyone off it this year, but I don't think she would have told me that if there wasn't a good possibility.

also I know at least 5 people at the school within two classes that were taken off the list and they were ALL informed in early April

so focus on your classes and keep your hopes up, im sure some of us will get off the list! 🙂
