SUNY Downstate vs Buffalo

I am choosing between the two schools and would love some feedback about how they compare??? Which has a better reputation? better quality of life for students? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

Def. SUNY Downstate...It has a much better reputation than Buffallo....Just look at the match lists...Just my $.02

I don't know abou the reputations of the two schools but in terms of student life, Buffalo is really cold and the city is very distracting...and by now you ushould know in what environment you perform best.
