Hey is suny downstate called suny downstate still

I was under the impression back in the early 90s they changed the name to suny health science center at brooklyn... same thing with suny upstate medical center to suny health science center at syracuse. Now i see everything is still suny downstate.. and people still referring to them as downstate... Just curious.. i was waitlisted there back in the mid nineties for medical school.. I always thought it would be an awesome place to train
