SUNY "No Decision"

Hello-

I recently interviewed at SUNY and just got a letter yesterday saying that the "admissions committee is unable to make a descision on [my] candidacy at this time." Does this mean I am on the waitlist? I thought the interview went pretty well (maybe I'm delusional) and my OAT stats aren't the greatest, but they seemed fine to me. I would have rather had them reject me outright instead of making me wait - haha. Has anyone else gotten this letter? How long will it be until I get the real descision?

Judging by your GPA and your overall OAT scores, I would have been sure you'd get in. The only thing that sometimes sets the admissions folks off is if any of your individual scores were below 320. Last year, I was conditional accept to SUNY in October with a lower GPA than yours. The condition was that I would have to get above 320 in every category of the OAT. Don't worry too much, I'll bet that you'll get into SUNY pretty soon.

Anyone else here in the same waitlist boat? Gee, this is killin' me. I am hanging in here, but lately all I can think about while I'm at work is, "Please SUNY, save me from this god forsaken corporate hell." There's nothing more stressful than uncertainty. I still don't know if my third letter made it to Berkeley on time. OK, so there are probably a lot of things more stressful than this, but...nevermind...I think I just need more sleep...I'll be all right. Maybe, to keep myself sane, I'll page myself over the speaker system tomorrow without disguising my voice.

Congrats purplehaze98...Are you guys on the east or west coast. I am on the west coast so hopefully I will receive my decision later this week.

Just thought I needed an update from all the schools that I didn't get into...so I just called...and SUNY told me they'll send out the letter today.
