Lots of programs go unfilled, but it is rare to find one that doesn't match anyone. Anytime that happens it is a sign that there are internal problems in the program. But you can't judge a program's match stats very well on places like scutwork.com, because many programs contract before the match or fill slots during the scramble. Most all spots seem to fill when it is all said and done and it is quite possible the program you are talking about has aswell. Go to the program's website and click on the link to the residents themselves. Hope you find your answer though.

Thanks kindly for your prompt reply. I know that ultimately they do fill, I just thought it odd that they hadn't during the regular Match season for the past three years and wondered if that was indicative of the program itself or the specialty. For instance, Medicine filled completely via the Match at the same hospital.
