I am a student at stony brook, and from what I can tell the residents are a really nice bunch of people that seem to be quite happy (I've worked with two on labor and delivery). Also, from what I've heard, the em program is one of the stronger residency programs at stony brook. There are two postive reviews on scut work too. Sorry, I can't be of more help 😳

I'm a junior in high school and I have just begun to look at colleges. Stony Brook seems like a great school with a strong pre-med program. Another thing I am looking for in a school is a strong athletic program. I play tennis and am hoping to get a scholarship for it. I believe I have good enough credentials tennis wise to get a scholarship with a decent division I program, or so I've been told. Any info on Stony Brook would be great, as it is currently my number one choice out of the other school's I have looked at. Thanks!

Check the list of unmatched programs for the past few years, they didn't match for whatever reason. Far out on LI, one hour away from the city.
