I just talked to Dr. Rosso and he said that he was surprised by the slow movement on the waitlist.
Well I guess that is good because then we still have a chance for an acceptance.

Not on the waitlist. Interviewed the first week of april and just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

I wonder if the class is filled and they are only interviewing for the waitlist.
I had my interview in Feb and was waitlisted 2 weeks after that.
Damn this wait list stuff I just want to get accepted.

I was accepted at UB back in December, but I am also on 3 waitlists, all of which I like better than UB. I think a lot of people are in my situation, so hold on tight, there will be brisk movement of UB's waitlist in June and July.

I hope in early June because I want to move down to Florida before my orientation at NSUCOM.
But If I get accepted to SUNY UB or SB I will go there with out a doubt

I think that the most likely reason for the slow movement is b/c of the SCamcas fiasco. Don't worry; I bet you that the waitlist will start moving real fast in late May/June. When I interviewed at UB the director of admissions (I don't remember her name) said that everyone on the waitlist last year wound up getting in. I will be withdrawing my acceptance tommorow (I just wanted to make sure Stony Brook got my acceptance letter and check first 🙂 ). So hopefully someone here will get my spot 🙂 .

Well I agree with Daisy girl:
IF you had fast movemnet on the waitlist and you weren't excepted then your chances of getting in are much more difficult. However with slow movemnet we have a much better chance.

I guess I'll be in much of a similar situation as you, in that I'm in this HP wait list from SUNY, but I've not heard from UB yet Int. 3/20.
Keep me posted if you do get into any of those. Are you doing anything to improve your chances for SUNY SB?
