Hey YML,
Last year I applied as an Early Assurance applicant. I got an interview in August (towards the middle-end).
It was really stress-free. I think the admission department takes pride in that. Also, I was worried about ethical questions, but I think because they knewy I was a sophomore (entering Junior year), they were very lax, and didnt ask any tough questions (HMOs, euthanasia, etc.)
Goodluck. They are all really nice up there. 🙄
Absolutely.
He was asked why he wanted to go into medicine and I believe he mentioned religion, I think they actaully crossed a line and asked what religion he was and the one interviewer would not drop it once he stated he was "muslim". The guy was an ex-muslim christian convert so that didn't seem to help. From that point on he was just drilled about his religion and why would he want to be muslim. Maybe he's not on the adcom anymore, hopefully! It sounded like a stress interview to me because they put him on the spot so much, if not totally inappropriate.
