On the online app some of these schools have supplemental questions. Is it a good idea to fill the character limit or just write what you can? Sometimes I don't have a lot to say for these questions and I'm just adding in fluff to get close to the limit. "Why do you want to attend dental school here?" Um, because you make people into dentists? Like what else can you possibly say?

Don't fluff it up. Be brief and to the point. Adcoms read hundreds of applications and they don't want one with a lot of fluff in it. For lots of my supplemental questions, I just wrote a small like 7-8 sentence paragraph answering the question, and that was all.

Thanks! I'm just wondering if there's more I can say but honestly I really couldn't think of anything more.

Same. NYU supplemental has a 5000 character limit. And idk how long I should write mine.
