Why are you applying to this school?

I am trying to answer this for one of the schools I am applying to, and I feel like my answer sounds very generic. In reality, everything I am saying is probably what everyone else will say. Good clinical program, small class size and location. I mean my writing is not the greatest so I am afraid I am missing something.

For this kind of question, are they really expecting something spectacular or is it assumed almost all the answers will be similar. I am worried about sending my app but I am not sure what else to add or how to give my answer some bedazzle.

Also, is it bad if you mention the tuition is cheap?

Rephrase and say the financial logistics are more in-line with my hopes or whatever blah blah instead of "cheap"

I think the best answer to this is something you can talk a lot about during your interview, make sure what you put can be followed up with a story that ties back to you because it will be questioned.

It has good info on almost every school, so you can talk more specifically about what you like about each school. You may need to address this in interviews, so copy and paste your answer on a word document so you can refer back to it later.

You should talk positively about school's reputation, curriculum, clinical strength, volunteer programs, etc.

Little empty compared to med but still pretty good, especially for interviews!
