Supplemental Essays on AADSAS App

Stupid question.....

Must all supplemental essays under "Sections Completed" and "Questions" be completed before I submit my application? Can I write these after the application is submitted?

They must be completed so that you are able to submit the application.

You must complete the supplemental essay before you submit to that specific school. When you submit your AADSAS application you can choose to submit to a specific school later.

So just to clarify, should I submit my "general application" then start on the supplementary questions, or do the supp. questions inside of AADSAS need to be completed before submitting anything? I don't want to accidentally submit it all then have the supp. questions blank.

It would be a good strategy to submit your general app first, if you need more time for schools with supplemental questions. You do need to submit to at least one school when you submit your general app, so choose a school that otherwise requires nothing except a supplemental fee.

Oh that makes more sense now. So I could submit the general app to one school at a time to get the GPA verification process started? To a school that has supplemental questions outside of AADSAS?

Supplemental questions on AADSAS MUST be finished first before submitting. Supplemental questions that schools mail to you SEPARATELY from AADSAS can be finished after submitting. If you're applying to any schools that do not have any supplemental questions on AADSAS, submit your app to that school to start the verification process. While your app is being verified, you can finish the supplemental questions on AADSAS and then submit to those schools when finished.

Well I really wish I knew this earlier! Thanks so much for clarifying it. I was waiting to finish all of the AADSAS supplemental Q's then submitting everything at once.

Supplemental questions on AADSAS must be finished before submitting your AADSAS application to that particular school. You can submit your AADSAS application to more schools later. It is not like you have to submit to either all or none of the schools you intend to apply to in one go.
