Supplemental fee failed delivery?

I sent two of my supplemental fees via courier, and when I look up the tracking information they both come up as "delivery attempted, information left on where to pick up". Do dental schools generally go out of their way to pick up failed deliveries? Has this happened to anyone else? I really don't want to have to get another money order and resend from Canada 🙁

It'd be ridiculous if you had to get another money order, considering money orders are paid up front. Columbia seems to have lost my online payment somehow? I'd definitely give them a ring/e-mail before you take any further steps.

Can you call to find out where they have been left and see if they'll attempt another delivery? Or if they can cancel the "courier" portion and just deliver it to the address you requested without requiring anyone to sign for it?

I didn't require a signature for delivery, so it's strange it wouldn't be left there. I can't see them trying to deliver it outside of normal work hours either. I'll try calling Canada Post (who I originally sent it through) but I'm assuming it would be out of their hands now and with a US postal service.

Exactly. Paid up front with a fee for money order, plus international courier fee and a weak Canadian dollar.

You mean you didn't get a confirmation email from Columbia? That's weird. Double-check your email because mine was in spam folder!

Yep, received it and all. I received an e-mail saying they have not received my supplemental fee. I went ahead and forwarded the confirmation so hopefully it gets cleared up.
 
Most larger facilities, colleges included, have a specific address for packages or deliveries like that. Did you check to see if that was applicable in this case? If you mailed to a mailing address, that might be the issue. I would call them, keeping in mind that it is a Holiday in the US today/this weekend so call on Tuesday maybe, and let the know what happened and if they can get your payment somehow.
 
I got an email from one school saying that they've received my payment even though the tracking information still says 'Attempted delivery, blah blah blah'. I emailed the other and am waiting for a reply (hoping to not have to rack up too many international phone calls). I'm hoping the second also received it and it's just a glitch in the tracking system.
