supplemental material questions

this is going to sound so stupid, but do I have to submit the supplemental materials and fees for the dental school to review my application?
I have been getting emails from almost all the ones I applied asking to submit it, but I thought supplemental materials are only for schools that have reviewed your app and they want you for interviews and then they ask for it.

Yes if they ask to submit you should. They won't consider you for interview unless you do.

Your portal will tell you what each school requires and when in your school designations. Refer to the attachment to see where.

I would suggest looking at the individual school's websites, however. I had my personal check ready for Pittsburgh, but apparently they do not accept those. I did not figure this out until going to their personal website.
