Um i've applied to like 12 schools so far. Immediately got supplementals for around 5 schools. Is not receiving supplemental equivalent to a rejection for some schools?

Depends on the school, I'd suppose. Based on my non-experience, I'd guess:
a) some schools are slower than others to send supplementals
b) some schools are not rolling admissions, so you haven't gotten to the point where they send supplementals yet
c) your app was either declined or held

If you're concerned... call the school & inquire on your application status.
