Surgery Questions for CK

Any opinions on a good study aid for the Surgery questions on Step II CK? I must have some mental block on that subject because I'm doing well on the other topics on USMLEWorld, but not so well on Surgery. I tried picking up Pre-Test which lasted for all of 30 minutes.

kaplan surgery notes should be enough

I totally agree with doc20, the kaplan surg notes are excellent. I would just read the second part of the book, the "vignettes" because they have everything you need

Good advice! Definitely improved my score. Do OB/Gyn notes from Kaplan work equally well for OB?

Yes, although it is a bit longer, more voluminous.


First Aid is also pretty good.

i thought the ob/gyn notes were sort of hit or miss. I'd say just browse through Blue Prints Ob/Gyn, which is pretty good.
