Have you heard the audio version? I lost my copy over the summer so I bought another one (pointless, I know) and it came with a code so you can download the audio version off the web (think books on tape).

Great idea, only they should have coached the readers on how to pronounce the medical terms. 👎

No, I haven't. I only have the older, 3rd edition.

I once listened to some audio lectures from Kaplan (for Step 1) and they were also mispronouncing things. 🙄

Nah, you probably didn't need it anyway.

Remember that a new version doesn't always equal a better version.

This is a random request but the 4th edition i bought got teared up by my dog so its missing pages.

And for the life of me i can't find the website where to register the book on to download the audio files of. i saved the book cover with the code though 😎

i found http://thepoint.lww.com/ but am not sure if its the right one.. can some one clue me in?

I think that's right. First you have to set up a free account. Then enter your book code. You'll see a list of their audio books. Click on the Table of Contents for the book whose code you entered. You should see both the compressed (zipped) and uncompressed MP3 files. After registration, you have 60 days to download the files.
