Switch school to up GPA ?

Hey,


One of my friends was doing fairly poorly at my school, but he transfered to another, I dont know why, it is very far compared to his previous school, could it be because if one transfers to another school he/she starts off with a new gpa?

Does it look bad on an application if you transfer out of schools and moreover does it help ?

Hi,
AADSAS require transcripts from all colleges you've attended, and will calculate grades from both universities, so the GPA will be averaged.

I think transfering between colleges in general would not affect your app. However, if your GPA drops significantly after your transfer (e.g. 3.8 @ cc but 2.5 @ 4 yr university) then it will def. be a problem.
