Hi everyone,
I'm in need of serious guidance and advise. I'm currently a PGY3/second year radiology resident at a good academic northeast program. I did my prelim medicine at a tough academic program with curriculum that was nearly identical to categorical IM.
So, I'm seriously considering switching to psychiatry. I floated this idea on SDN around this time last year but decided to 'stick it out' but I'm back to the same place now.
How would I go about looking for open PGY2 spots in psych? I have excellent USMLE scores and medical school.
Thanks in advance!
