I'm switching from studying the DAT to the MCAT because I'm switching from pursuing dentistry to podiatry. Can anyone give me some insight to the major differences between the DAT and MCAT? I understand that the MCAT has physics while the DAT has perceptual ability, but are there any other major differences? Does the MCAT have a reading comprehension portion? Are the questions the same format on the MCAT? Are the bio, gchem, and ochem, and math portions identical?

I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks

reading comprehension is the verbal section.

no math section

as of this year, there is a new mcat with 4 sections.

Bio sci (general bio and o chem)
phys sci (g chem and physics)
Verbal (reading comprehension)
Social and behavioral sciences (new section)

A social and behavioral sciences section? As in they give you scenarios and you have to choose the correct moral choice or something?
