Are there any residents here that switched to Derm from another specialty? If so, I am interested in your story and how you went about making the change. Thanks

its very common.

I know of people who have switched from medicine, pediatrics, surgery, obgyn, and ear-nose and throat.

most do some sort of research/clinical fellowship for a year and then apply through the match along with everyone else.
