TPRH said that that the postganglionic sympathetic neuron that innervate sweat glands release acetylcholine and they said this is the only exception in which the postganglionic sympathetic neuron release acetylcholine instead of norepinephrine....My question is: Do we need to know these stupid exceptions for the MCAT?

It's not a stupid exception.

Typically the SNS exerts positive effects on non-glandular structures. Glands that express secretions are usually parasympathetic and respond to ACh.

I doubt it, but it is something that is taught in undergraduate level A&P.
