What generally happens with tail coverage in partnership track positions if a group is taken over by a management company or the hospital??

It's all negotiated.

Many times if a management group takes over they will not buy your tail.

That's why I only do occurrence.

Hospitals take over. It's a better chance they buy your tail if they want to retain the current staff.

So the answer is it varies. No single right answer how its done.
