I am a 3rd year undergrad student at a big 10 university

Last semester, I went through some personal/family issues and got 3 C+s and 1 C (including Chem 2, OChem, and genetics). my GPA took a hit and my cumulative is down to 3.4.

To show that this wasn't a trend or representative of who I am, I tried to make a big comeback this semester and took 18 credit hours and a research position. Because of said family issues I lost some financial support, so now I am also working 2 part-time jobs to cover living costs.

I had As in all my classes going into my anatomy exam last night, but this morning I realized when I looked at my exam booklet that I somehow managed to skip the last 3 pages and only actually did 50/75 questions on the exam.

This semester worked out so that I have an exam every week and I just had a bio exam, so I guess between lack of sleep and the fact that my day started at 8am and had nonstop class/work right up until my exam at 7 (I had to take my physics discussion quiz early so I could leave class early to get to the exam on time) I had just checked out and wasn't thinking. I understand this is no excuse and everything is on me, but I wanted to explain how I might have done something so stupid. 🙁

The exam is structured so that the end questions are weighted more than the beginning questions, so I'm afraid I'm basically guaranteed an F on this exam.
I had a 970/1000 going in and each exam is worth 165 points.

Should I go ahead and take what will probably be another B-/C+ and have that show up on my upper-class transcript? Or withdraw? I've heard people here say that AMCAS regards Ws as Fs.

I'm just so upset because up until now I was handling this semester pretty well and now I feel like this one mistake might have a serious impact on my future.

Also, am I still in the running for MD?

I'm in a similar boat so let me first say that I hope everything works out for you. I am curious, though, if I should take a C (cGPA 3.35, sGPA 3.7) or drop. Hopefully someone with better insight can help us both out.
