Take off shoes during exam

Before you call me for trolling, i am not, this is a legit question.

i just wanted to know if you were allowed to take off your shoes while taking the exam? at home, i dont wear shoes while doing questions, but if i go to the kaplan center i wear shoes (and keep it on). just wanted to know (no shoes is more comfortable of course), but wasnt sure if prometric or ada had any strict guidelines, as i heard if you bring a jacket, you must wear it and cannot take it off.

i was able to take my shoes off. i usually put my legs up on the chair (as if i were sitting on the ground), so during the test i took my shoes (flip flops) off to adjust to my comfortable position 🙂

some testing centers are anal, i heard. but i doubt about the shoes.
