I finished my freshman year with a 3.1, sophomore year with 3.9 average and my cumulative gpa is now a 3.6. I took all the premed pre-reqs except for physics which I am taking next semester. This is my schedule for next semester
Calc Based Physics + Lab 5 credits
Cell Biology 3 credits
Psychology 3 credits
Biochemistry I (2 semester course) 3 credits
total: 14 credits
I am not very confident with my schedule, although I did well during my sophomore year (got A's in orgo I and orgo II), I was thinking of dropping biochemistry I and switching it with an easy history class to lessen the class load. I am afraid that I wont be able to get straight A's because of my tough schedule. I will be a first year Resident Assistant next semester, I will be working as a teacher's assistant next semester and I will be doing research. Any suggestions? Should I take the risky route and take biochem, or take the safe route and take the history class and free up a lot of time? The only reason why I am taking biochem is because it will prepare me for the MCAT biology. Also, I have a weak background in physics**.
