Currently in dedicated for step1, here's my stats so far:

54% uWorld used at 68% correct
216 Amboss self-assessment (February)
UWSA1 242
NBME26 72% (99% chance to pass if step1 taken within 1 week)

I am learning a lot of information just by going through uWorld and filling my knowledge gaps, but I wonder how much or any of this material is applicable to 3rd year or Step2. Step1 exam date is currently scheduled for first week of June. In the P/F era, is there any benefit to continue the step1 dedicated grind after reaching comfortable passing in practice exams?

I’m in a similar situation. My opinion is rooted in the belief that good boards prep now is still the best prep for wards and Step 2.

If I were you I’d carry on with dedicated as usual and try for some higher NBMEs in a couple weeks before moving the test date.

UWSA1 tends to over-predict. Going off your NBME, you’re chilling at ~205 equivalent. Why start rotations with a 205 equivalent foundational knowledge when a 230+ equivalent is well within reach?

I personally would move it up to be honest. I finished dedicated beginning of April and towards the end I felt very burnt out and wished I had moved it up a week.
You can take one or two more NBMEs to see if the one you took is reflective of where you're at, but I'd say you're fine taking it early.

Best prep for shelf exams/Step 2 would literally be UWorld/Amboss Step 2 and practice NBME shelf exams
But don't they build on each other? If you still work extra hard on Step 1, wouldn't that give you a stronger base to build better Step 2 knowledge through the resources you mentioned and in turn a higher Step 2 score?
