Currently in a two year smp at a well known DO school. First semester was rough and ended with a 2.96(A-,B,B-, B-) while other classes were all P/F research ones. This semester taking 3 courses and we had our first round of exams. Unfortunately I was sick the week before and it killed my grades (D and F still waiting for my third score). I have to say this is not indicative of my performance. Last semester I struggled for the first exam but really picked it up and got Bs then As on all exams afterwards and truly learnt how to study. This semester was going well before winter break and then I got severely sick. Anyways for the two classes I’ve gotten scores back so far I can still get a 85 and maybeeee a 90 if I aim to improve. This week also happens to be the last week to drop courses for a W. Because I do currently have a failing grade in both classes, should I take the w and retake it next year or aim for that B?
