So I'm a senior right now with a pretty low GPA (around 3.2). Should I take an upper level bio course next semester to increase my GPA or just take 3 courses and spend my time studying for my DAT, which I'm planning on taking at the end of March.

I would probably take the bio course. That way you can have the opportunity to raise your GPA and it'll be a good review for the bio section of the DAT anyway. Maybe take the DAT later in the spring/summer so that you can study for it after classes are over? That's what I did (I took the DAT July 25) and I don't think it really hurt my application any to take it later in the summer.

I agree take your time studying for the dat. Everyone freaks out causes they're not in the first batch. My app was completed the beginning of September and I still got 5 pre-December interviews. Don't wait as long as me but mid July to August is prime time to take the DAT as long as everything else is turned in and squared away.
