Taking A Physics Class In the Summer

I just took a physics class in the summer which I am going to be dropping because i got a 78 on the first test. Its so hard, its algebra based physics but nonetheless i have no clue on whats going on.

I feel terrible about withdrawing but I feel like If i take it during the regular semester I might do better when I have more time, and the topics wont be crammed into a 6 week period.

Do you think I'm making the right decision to withdraw, and try during the regular semester?

If you don't feel as though you can get a good grade in the class I'd drop it soon before you get a W on your transcript. Physics is a hard subject and taking during the summer is ever harder (esp if you take the lab at the same time) I took it during what my school calls "maymester" which is the time between the regular spring semester and first summer session which only lasted about 2.5 weeks. Talk about hard! By then end of it I thought my head was going to explode.

Well W is the only grade I can get so far or I can get a Pass no Credit. Which one is better for dental schools?

Be thankful you can withdraw. I did awful in physics and when I went to withdraw UofL told me I was passed the withdrawl date. I was shocked, furthermore they told me I would have to go before a commitee and present my case.
I went to USF before here and never had this problem
