should i continue a research project i'm doing or take a week off and then be unsure whether i'll finish gathering enough data by the end of the summer, the vacation is with my family who i hardly see, but i'm worried all my work in the lab will be gone if i dont continue it

I think it is a great idea....a family vacation to decapress and reenergize before starting prep....then come back and kick some Step ass...

I say go for it .... 👍 (if you are feeling bad about it then take FA with you and in your down time thumb thru it)

Good Luck

I think it's a great idea as well. Most of the third years I've spoken with said that you don't need more than five weeks to prepare for the boards. And if your school is anything like mine, I'm sure you're studying alot for finals right now. You are going to need a little time off before starting board study.

I'm not going anywhere, but I am taking four days off after I finish finals to move.

I'm just a first year, but I say do it!! If you try to go right into studying for boards after studying for finals, you will just find yourself burned out midway through boards studying, if not earlier.
