Due to scheduling issues, ob/gyn will be my last core rotation, but I need to take CK at the end of the month. I read through all of Blueprints and the ob/gyn sections of First Aid, MTB and Secrets. They've been helpful but I'm having difficulty with the management of obstetrics conditions in particular. Will UW be enough for CK?

my OBGYN rotation was a colossal joke. I spent most of the time in the office doing Pap smears and wet mounts.

The time on the labor ward was just hanging out and then putting on booties when labor came about and just guiding the cardinal movements of labor... and preparing the umbilical cord for the father to cut.

in essence, I only relied on self studying for the OBGYN material

I did worst on that shelf exam out of all of mine at 85.. and there were some questions that confused me on CK. but all in all book knowledge for CK is more than adequate, provided you did qbanks to reinforce your knowlege

Second the notion. I learned more from Kaplan than I did from my medical school in OB.

thanks! I run through the Kaplan videos and see how that helps. I have under 2 weeks left :/
