I am planning on taking the DAT at the end of summer (8/20) and giving my summer to studying for it because there isn't much other time for me to dedicate the time needed for it unless its summer. I have taken the DAT a few times already and really feel like I have the materials this time around to score high and get in. I have Kaplan White and Blue books, AP Chem and Bio Cliff notes, TopScore, Achiever, Chad's Videos and recently got DAT and Math Destroyer. I also downloaded a notecard program just in case. So basically I have acquired everything I have been told has gotten good results from this forum, and hoping to get the best use out of these. I am planning on starting my studying ASAP but really feel like I could use some advice.

I know this sounds like a big request but I am somewhat having trouble figuring out how I should go about using these materials so that I can get the most of of my 3 months or so of studying. Should I watch Chad's videos first and take notes off of those before getting into all my other books? I just feel like after feeling good about having all these materials, I now feel a bit overwhelmed with what I should do with all of it. Any sort of advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!

I also have Chads GC videos as well as the DAT Destroyer and what I have found to be very helpful for the GC section (well this would work with OC as well) is after every lecture I watched with Chad, I would do his practice quiz and then skim through the Destroyer to find relevant questions pertaining to the lecture I had just watched. Definitely reinforces what Chad is getting across!

Most important thing to do is write down a schedule and stick to it though.

Once you get the schedule down, then everything willl come to you. If you want to spend all day on one subject, go for it. If you want to break it down into 3 subjects, do it! Everyone learns differently and once you find what is best for you, stick with it!

Best of Luck!

how many times is a "few" times ? im assuming youve taken it twice already.
so at least you know what types of questions to expect for the most part, and you should also know which sections you should be working on most by looking at your old scores.
3 months is more than enough time for ample studying. if i were you, id start by watching chads gen chem vids first, taking notes, doing his quizzes. then do chads ochem videos bc you may need to understand some gen chem concepts b4 u go into doing orgo. do his quizzes for orgo as well.
then you can set to conquer destroyer for these 2 subjects.
you should also try to read cliffs AP bio any chance you get...the more you review it the better.
PAT try to practice as much as you again preferably with CDP unless you already get perceptual ability and dont need the help/practice...if so, im jeal.
qr use math destroyer and youll be set for a decent score if you understand it/can do a test in the proper amount of time.:xf:
do as many practice problems you can for every section.
