Do you guys think it's too late?
I had to reschedule from my original date because I felt like I needed more time, but all the dates I wanted were already filled. The next available date was 9/9.
I have all my apps submitted; I just need the LOE to get sent in.
What do you think? Am I at a huge disadvantage for this cycle?

Is there only one testing center in your area? Maybe you can take it at another testing center with earlier available dates. I don't think its a huge disadvantage, since they already have your application.

Anways, no worries, there's not much you can do about it; so don't spend your time worrying, just study hard!

AADSAS received the LOE today so my application is pretty much complete (only need the DAT scores). Do they usually wait until they get the DAT scores before sending the printouts to schools?

No. They will send your packet out at the next scheduled mailing. Your DAT score does not constitute a "complete" packet all the other (the multitude of documents they want) does.

When you have completed your test I would call the schools and let them know that you test is done and if they will accept your "unofficial" score report.

This is the first time I'm taking the DAT and I already selected all the schools I'm applying to in the section where they ask you where I want my scores sent to. Do I still have to call the schools?

You only need to call the schools to see if they will accept your "unofficial" score report. It usually takes the ada about 2-4 weeks to get your scores out to the schools. Why wait that long?

Oh, true. I guess I will have to call up 10+ schools I'm applying to when I take my DAT. Although... I heard they send DAT scores electronically these days. What's that about? Does that speed things up a bit?
