what are some disadvantages of taking mcat the 2nd time?

What are some motivators to make myself trying my hardest for the first time? I really want to forget the idea that I can always take it again next year.

please help me! thanks!

some disadvantages of taking the mcat twice........ where do i begin, this quesiton seems pretty self explanatory.

1. kiss an extra 200 dollars goodbye
2. ENDLESS hours wasted studying while you could be doing other more important and interesting things.
3. why the F would you want to take this test more than once.
4. if you are taking it more than once, you probably did poorly the first time. that will not look good on your application and there will be added pressure to improve greatly on the 2nd attempt.

there are no advantages to taking the test twice. only do so if you absolutely have to.

Do you really need motivation to try hard the first time? how about the fact that this test plays a huge role in where/if you go to medical school. i absolutely despise this f'in test, but i studied my ass off so i would only have to take it once. I'm not sure how far you along in your studying, but when it is comming to a close, you should be so sick of lookin at that material and worrying about that test that there is no way you would even consider taking this test twice unless it is the ONLY option.

+1. I took it twice, first time got a 27, second time got lucky.
Imagine the pressure on Kobe Bryant's forehead when the lakers were 1:3 in the finals... That's how I felt...
