Study 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. Will use biology and chemistry texts, DAT kaplan (should work?), and Barrons PCAT. Will this suffice for August?
It's how you study and not how much you study that counts. I would recommend referring to the MCAT books actually to get your review for biology and chemistry. Use the Kaplan PCAT book to get refreshers on the math and the english. Aside from that, practice practice practice. Do the practice tests with the intent of getting the timing down. You want to try to finish each section comfortably.
When I studied, I put myself on an impossible regimen, but it worked for me. I tried to finish every section at least 10 minutes ahead of the time allotted (Yes it's possible, because i've done it many times). The questions they ask aren't hard at all. With your education you should be able to comprehend their questions. The question is how fast can you do it. If it takes you a minute per question, you're moving too slowly. Remember that these tests CAN be finished. Therefore, the problems are designed with some trick or concept that if you remember, you can save yourself a lot of work. I remember that when I was taking the math section, over 70% of the questions had answers that could be calculated just by canceling common denominators, simplifying fractions, or moving decimal points around.
Why give yourself an extra 10 minutes? During test day, those 10 minutes can be used to give yourself a breather between sections (because it gets really draining). Also, those 10 minutes can be used to focus on the one or two questions that you're puzzling over, and 99% of the time, you can get those questions right because they're not impossible anyway.
Best of luck! And a PCAT score in the high 90s is never out of reach =)
