Taking Step II CK in February - disadvantage?

Hi, I'm taking Step 2 CK Feb 22. A program director just told me that I will be at a disadvantage.

Really bummed me out. She even told me that her program doesn't look as bad on it but that other programs will most likely rank me lower.

What should I do? I wanted to focus on my interviews and take it later and didn't think it would be a big deal. I passed Step 1 but didn't do fabulously on it or anything. I think that's why she asked what my Step 2 CK was. My heart nearly broke when she told me all this stuff and I'm wondering if it's even worth it to go to my other interviews. I have some at good places but now if they're competitive I'm worried I'll be pushed out of the mix.

I would go ahead and interview anyway, I wouldn't read into some PD asking about Step 2 CK, I got asked even though my Step 1 was pretty good, there is literally nothing you can do about it being late, so why worry about something you can't fix?
