Taking the DAT after submitting the AADSAS application

Hey guys,
I imagine that there are a lot of you guys who are submitting the application first, then taking the DAT.
So how do you guys know which schools to apply to, even though you don't know your DAT scores yet?
I'm in the same boat, so I would definitely appreciate some feedbacks.
