Talking about why a school interests you outside of "why us" essays?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was okay to put things about the school that you like outside of the essays that ask you to describe why you are applying to their school? for example, if an essay that describes my research interests. Is it okay to talk briefly mention labs related to my research that I am interested in?

Or if a school asks you to describes areas of medicine you are interested in. Is it okay to briefly mention aspects of the school are promote those interests?
