TAMU interview notification

I received a letter in November stating TAMU would notify applicants of an interview status by Dec. 22. Does this mean they will mail the notifications by the 22 or you will receive the notification by the 22? Anyone heard anything yet?

I do know they have already been conducting interviews, and I know of one person who has already received a rejection.

I hate waiting. Grrrr! 😡

Hang in there!

I too am waiting for any type of response from A&M. I am getting a little worried though. I applied last year (only to A&M) and I got my rejection letter a day after the "last day" that they said they would send letters out. I was pretty bummed. So, I am getting nervous since I haven't heard anything. Here are my thoughts:

If we were a definite NO we would have received our rejection letters already. We must be close to the cut off point and there is still a possibility for an interview. I'm thinking that no news is good news until Friday and then I'll start freaking out. I too have only heard of 1 person who received an interview and 1 person who has received a rejection letter.

I'm waiting on a&m now too. I have a friend who is there now who said she didn't get her interview invite until Jan so I don't know how accurate the Dec 22 date is. Meanwhile I bite my nails until the mail gets here everyday.

Hey there,

Well, I received their letter today and it was an interview invitation! I was so surprised. Last year I heard on the day after they said they would tell us and it was a rejection. I could not believe my eyes when I read that it was for an interview. Hang in there. I heard they were really swamped this year. No news is still good news!

The Interviews scheduled for tomorrow are canceled due to the weather 🙁 stupid ice. Does anyone have any idea when they are rescheduling them for?
