I just started prep today, following Sn2ed's schedule. I was working through the practice passages in the new TBR books, but the passages aren't making sense. There are 14 passages divided into 3 phases, with Phase I being review of the chapter, Phase II being a practice exam of the chapter and Phase III being more practice passages. I figured 14 passages total so 1/3 would be about 4 today, however most of the passages have content from well outside the scope of the chapter making it difficult to answer most of the questions. Is this because TBR integrates everything in or did I just miss something? In that case, should the 1/3 just be Phase I until I actually know more to answer Phase II and III?

Sn2ed schedule was designed for the old mcat and thus used pre 2015 tbr matetial. Tbr has since updated their review books which breaks the passages into phases. So yes i would do phase 1 as first 3rd, phase 2 as second 3rd and so on. The bio books dont follow the new format and i would do those 1/3.

@Thekinginthenorth30 Thank you, do you know if Phases II and III are integrated and therefore require more knowledge than in the chapter?
Yes phase 2 and 3 are integrated and often introduces things not covered in chapter. Tbr does this to get you to read the answer explanations which are really good. Phase 2 in the orgo book are designed to help with timing, so i would suggest to do them in one sitting.

History tends to repeat itself...as the saying goes. For you, this means that some topics and questions tend to repeat themselves. When I teach a course, I will often reuse exam questions from other courses either verbatim or slighly modifying them. I would recommend taking the time and doing the questions/passages since it will probably benefit you.
