Hey guys, I know some of you guys are probably in the same boat or similar kind of situation. I received my TCD acceptance two weeks ago and I just took my MCAT yesterday (the second time), I felt OK about it (you never know how you did until you received your score). After reading all the comments about TCD, I felt a little bit worried about going TCD and it made me think about staying in US to do a DO if my score weren't not that great. Someone also posted threads saying that for doing residency in US, US med and DO > carribean Med > all other Med schools, but then I was a little bit vein, thinking that the title MD is better than DO, so I just don't know now. The deadline for deposit is April 30th, I just don't know I should send the 4000 euros to gamble a little even if I will withdraw later. Confused...any thoughts would be really appreciated!! Thank you guys, Congrats to all those received acceptance, for those who are waiting, good luck, and for those who got rejected, stay positive and you will get in somewhere!!!

To be honest...I would pay it up just because getting into any med school is such a "crap shoot" that no matter what your new score is...nothing is a guarantee. If it were me, I would pay the money and go...if you happen to get into a school in NA(not sure if you applied) then I would just accept that offer in exchange...sure you lose your deposit but that money will seem like a drop in the ocean in the end of it all. When it comes down to it, if you really really really want to be a doctor, then do it. You can even start a year of school there and then apply to NA schools, that way if you get in here you can just bounce and in the end you will save a lot of money...or on the other hand if you don't get in you will at least be working towards your goal. This is all my opinion and my values so take it for whatever it is worth.
